The great wall of China in Jinshanling ( 金山岭 in Chinese) is located about 130km northeast of Beijing. Here there is a section of the great wall which is preserved very well and doesn't receive that many visitors. The wall extends over the mountains in Luanping county for over 10km, with five passes, 67 towers and three beacon towers. First built under the direction of general Xu Da in 1368 during the Ming dynasty, it renovated in 1567.
