The Geirangerfjord is a scenic fjord in the Sunnmøre region of Møre og Romsdal county of southern Norway, with some of the steepest mountain walls in Norway. Tafjorden is a fjord branch of the Geiranger fjord. The small village of Geiranger is located at the southeastern end of the fjord. From Geiranger there is a road which crosses the mountains leading to the Ottadalen valley. The Geirangerfjord has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 2005.
