The academy of fine arts (Hochschule für Bildende Künste Dresden or HfBK) is a university of visual arts in Dresden. The neo-classical complex along the Brühl's terrace along the Elbe river was built by Constantin Lipsius between 1887 and 1894. The glass dome is called 'lemon squeezer' by the inhabitants of Dresden.
