Maximiliananlage

The Maximiliansanlagen is a large park and garden area along the Isar river in central Munich. The Maximilianeum is a large building which nowadays hosts the Bavarian parliament. The Angel of peace is a golden statue erected in 1896 to commemorate the 25 years of peace following the 1870-71 war.
