Holstein

Holstein is a region in the southern part of the German Schleswig-Holstein state, located north of Hamburg and bordered by the North Sea to the west and the Baltic Sea to the east. It's a relatively flat region with a maximum altitude of 50m asl. Bad Oldesloe is a small city between Hamburg and Lübeck with many old houses and plenty of nature, dating back to the 14th century. The Denmark ferry connects the city of Puttgarden on the island of Fehmarn with Rødbyhavn in Denmark.
