The Dubai mall

The Dubai Mall next to the Burj Khalifa skyscraper is the world's largest shopping mall by area (1124000 sqm). It was opened in November 2008 and contains 1200 shops, most selling upmarket, branded goods. Inside the mall there are also a huge aquarium with marine sealife, a huge ice skating rink, several cinemas and a theme park.
