People and villages

These are photos taken during the trip between Phonsavan and Luang Prabang. This is primarily a rural area with many villages along the way. The Lao people living here are mainly farmers, growing rice and other crops. During the dry winter season there is not much activity in the fields. Schoolchildren wear uniforms when they go to school
