Rome
The capital of the Italy has a rich and fascinating history, dating back to around 2700 years ago. Rome grew from a small settlement on the Tiber river to become the capital of an empire spawining over most of the known (western world). Over the past 2000 years Rome has been the centre of the catholic faith.
