The Haleplibahçe mosaics museum is just adjacent to the archaeology museum. Inside, under a steel and glass dome, are mosaics of a Roman era palace which was discovered by accident during demolition work done in 2008. The mosaics date back to the 3rd to 5th century AD. They are different from the mosaics shown in the Zeugma museum in Gaziantep. There is a mosaic showing a slave and a zebra, and another one showing a hunting scene with Amazons.
