Lake Zurich (also known as lake of Zurich) is a long narrow lake extending across the Swiss cantons of Zurich, Schwyz and St. Gallen. It is 40km long, up to 3km wide and has a max. depth of 143m. The major cities around the lake are Zürich, Pfäffikon and Rapperswil. An hourly ferry service connects the various cities on the lake and the island of Ufenau.
