Khasab

Khasab is the capital and main tourist centre of the Musandam peninsula. Most tours to the Musandam fjords (or khors) start from here. The city itself is quite small and doesn't have much in terms of tourist attractions, except for an old fort which has been converted to a museum. Khasab has a handful of hotels, an airport with direct connections to Muscat and a ferry terminal/harbour.
