Waterfront

The centre of Ålesund is spread over the two islands of Nørvøya and Aspøya. These two islands are connected by a bridge and in between lies the harbour area of Ålesund. This waterfront area is very picturesque and on both sides there are houses built in the Jugendstil architectural style. A number of restaurants and cafes are located here.
