Rainforest

Around the Batang Ai lake there is mostly secondary rainforest, i.e. rainforest which grew after the original, primary rainforest was cut. Near the Hilton hotel there is a stretch of canopy walkway, from which there are some nice views of the area. Untouched, primary rainforest is avaiable further upriver.
