Scuba diving

Sibuan island is a popular diving destination receiving a good number of diving tourists every day. Scuba Junkie and Sipadan Scuba both based in Semporna organise day trips to the island. The waters surrounding Sibuan have narrow slopes and no strong currents and are therefore suitable even for beginners, which is why diving courses are held here. Underwater visibility however is poor and is limited to about 10m.
