The Poring Hot Springs lie in the Mount Kinabalu National Park and provide therapeutic baths with water from sulphur hot springs. The Canopy walkway, 30 to 60 meters above the forest floor, is an opportunity to appreciate nature up close. Sandakan, the former capital of Sabah, can be used as a base to explore the Sepilok Orang Utan rehabilitation centre, the neighbouring islands and the bird's nest caves.
