Wat Machimmaram

Wat Machimmaram is a Buddhist temple in the Tumpat district, in Kampung Jubakar. The highlight is the statue of a sitting Buddha, the largest in SE Asia, 30m tall and 18m wide, clad with pink mosaic stones. The statue was completed after 10 years of work in 2000. The temple compound occupies an area of 2.4 hectares.
