Shopping malls

There are a number of malls spread across Beirut. These are elegant and modern, but much smaller than malls found in the United Arab Emirates and East Asia. The Beirut souks are an open air mall and shopping area in the Solidere area in central Beirut. Cinemacity contains a large cinema and a food court. City Centre Beirut is a modern mall in the south of Beirut, opened in 2014, with 200 outlets over two levels selling branded and high end items. This mall has also a Carrefour supermarket and a food court. The ABC mall opened in the Verdun district of Beirut in 2017. It's an elegant high end mall with a beautifully decorated open air section with gardens and restaurants. The Beirut mall is a small and aging mall in southern Beirut, with few open shops inside.
