Near Vientiane

Near Vientiane lies the Xiengkuane Buddha park, a park with a number of statues of Buddha and other scenes of Buddhist faith. The friendship bridge connects Laos with Thailand and serves as a primary entry point into the country. While we visited the country a pumping station and an irrigation channel were being built by a Chinese-Vietnamese-Lao team.
