Other sights

In Buntu Burake, 18km south of Rantepao, there is a huge Christ statue overlooking the valley. The Suaya cliff burial site lies 5km west of it. A further 2km to the northeast is the Kambira baby grave, where babies have been buried in a tree. Batu Menhir is a menhir burial site 5km north of Rantepao. Galugu Dua is a small village 12km north of Rantepao with a 300 years old Tongkonan house. Finally, Marante is a burial site with Tau Tau wooden statues 4km east of Rantepao.
