Coastline

The coast of Flores is mostly mountainous, with steep hills falling into the sea in many places. Along the southern coast there are black sand beaches in Aimere and Nanga Penda near Ende. The latter beach is known for the green-blue stones found on it. Around Labuan Bajo there are some islands with nice white coral sand beaches.
