Oldenburg

Oldenburg is a city in northern Germany in the state of Lower Saxony, lying 40km northwest of Bremen. First mentioned in 1108, the city was relatively small until after WW II, when it quickly grew following the influx of refugees. Nowadays Oldenburg has 161000 inhabitants.
