Tianmen mountain, rising 1518 metres above sea level, is a breathtaking natural landmark within the Zhangjiajie scenic area in Hunan Province. Known as "Heaven’s Gate Mountain," it is famed for its natural karst arch, Tianmen Cave, which stands at 131 metres tall and 57 metres wide, formed by a colossal rock collapse in 263 AD. Visitors can ascend via the Tianmen Mountain Cableway, one of the world’s longest at 7455 metres, offering panoramic views of the Wulingyuan peaks and serpentine "99-Bend Road" below. The cliffside glass walkway, perched at 1430 metres, and the 999-step "Stairway to Heaven" leading to the cave add to its dramatic appeal. A site of spiritual significance, Tianmen Mountain blends awe-inspiring geology with cultural mystique.
