Around the Elbe river

Along the banks of the Elbe river in Dresden are a number of historic buildings, such as the ministry of finance, the academy of fine arts, the Semper opera house and more. Brühl's Terrace stretches along the southern bank of the Elbe just north of the Frauenkirche, offering nice views of the Elbe river. It's an area full of tourists, with many cafes and street artists.
